How to Use the Cisco Speed Dial Creator

This tool helps generate a Cisco Speed Dial file.

Steps to Use:

• Start by entering an extension number
• Select the type of extension.
• SIP = What you will enter for most extensions
• Trunk - RF Link = Select if you are adding a trunk line or a link to a node / hub.
• Att Console = Select if you are adding a speed dial to an Attendant Console / Sidecar.
• Phone = Select if you are adding a speed dial to the phone itself.
• PIN = Select if the extension needs a PIN entered.
• When done click "Download" to save the generated file.
• The file may get stopped by your browser and you must click "KEEP" to make it download.

Additional Notes:

• Strings that end like this " ; name " are meant for the phone, Copy the name to the name field.

What to do with the file:

• Open the file with a notepad program.
• Then Copy and paste the strings to the phone.
