How to Use the Polycom Speed Dial Creator

This tool helps generate a Polycom attendant Speed Dial file by adding SIP addresses and labels for contacts.

Steps to Use:

• Enter a starting number in the "Enter Starting Number" field. (Remember your line is on 1, So start with 2)
• Click "Set Start Number" to lock in the starting point.
• Fill in the "Enter Name" and "Enter Number" fields. ( without any - )
• Click "Add Entry" to save the contact.
• Use "Remove Last Entry" if you need to delete the last added entry.
• Use "Clear All" to remove all entries and start over.
• Click "Download XML" to save the generated file as Polycom-att.xml.
• The file may get stopped by your browser and you will need to click on something to make it download.

Additional Notes:

• The starting number determines where the list begins.
• Entries follow the format required for Polycom phones.
• Ensure all numbers are valid before adding an entry.

What to do with the file:

• If you Manually Provision, Copy & paste the contents of the file into the mac_address-features.cfg file & upload it back to the phone.
• If you Server Provision, Contact Tech Support with an email.
